Hi! I’m Faith. I grew up the youngest of 7 children to a single mother in a small rainy coastal town in Oregon. We didn’t have a ton, so family gatherings, holidays and experiences were important, as were the film photographs that documented our moments together. We had each other and through them our love was abundantly evident. This has influenced my photography style as when taking photos I try to capture a feeling, a fleeting moment in time - something you can interpret for yourself - rather than an always perfectly composed subject. In my photos I want you to look like you, and remember how you felt in this moment of your ever evolving life.
My interest in photography was piqued in ‘05 about half way through high school and I’ve been consistently participating in the medium ever since, experimenting with both film and digital. I sharpened my teeth for multiple years in NYC, working in Creative Services at Calvin Klein with juggernaut Raf Simons at the helm before returning to my home state to focus on my own photography and art. Since 2018 I have managed the website of and curated events for The Remains Gallery based in Hood River, OR and in addition to photography I currently select art for various businesses around the Columbia River Gorge.
